Receive God's New Mercies today

Lamentations 3 (NKJV)

21 This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.

22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”

It is a new day and a new season. God's mercies toward you never cease! He is ready to do something new and amazing in your life. God is infusing new inner strength in you, breathing life inside your spirit and strengthening your spirit, soul and body to face a new day. Remember, "..they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 KJV).

Let us also look at the same chapter from Isaiah 40:29-31 in the New Living Translation (NLT)

29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.

31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

God's desire is for you not to faint or grow weary. He has already made provision for that. He has given you His Spirit and made His mercies available to boost or supercharge you every morning. He understands situations and seasons will come in life that will make you feel tired. The good news is, He has made provision for that already! Our God is always ahead of satan; nothing takes Him by surprise! God has His "insurance" and assurance in place for when you get tired. That is how much He loves you and how much He has all this figured out and thought out. He loves you!

Our God gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless (Isaiah 40:29 NLT). He knows times will come when we could easily fall in exhaustion (verse 30), but He wants those who trust in Him and have their confidence in Him to find new strength and soar high on wings like eagles.

It is our prayer today that you will run and not grow weary, that you will walk and not faint. It is our prayer that you will put your focus on God and your confidence in Him, He will teach you to win. "For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls" (Hebrews 12:3). Find new strength in God today!
